Accomodations

The stunning Vdara!  We had a great contact there that set up a block of 15 rooms for us at a great rate, and even gave us our own booking website which has been really helpful and easy for our guests to use.  Can't wait to spend our wedding moon here in this all-suite, smoke-free and non-gaming retreat!  The Vdara room price averages out to $139 a night with the special group discount, a great price for a holiday weekend on the strip!

Trey Tomsik from Scenic Las Vegas Weddings is going to be our photogrpaher.  He shot my friends wedding (image on left) and her photos turned out amazing.  We're doing a photo tour with him for 3 hours before the ceremony starts, and then he's coming back to our reception to get shots with Travis Allen and of the entire group and take us out for a few more shots after the reception.

Floral

I am really glad I found Pam from the Palette to do all our flowers.  I'm not giving her many specifics for the boquets, so she can work her own magic with them.  I just told her no carnations or greens please :)

Ceremony

Picture
We're getting married at Caesars Palace in the Classico Chapel.  We are not having them provide any decor for the chapel.  I have ordered an aisle runner online which they allow you to bring.  It's the largest indoor chapel on the strip and we certainly won't have every seat filled, but at least I'll have a long walk down the aisle!

Reception

Picture
We're having a 4 hour reception at Maggiano's, with dinner and open bar.  Cassy at Maggiano's has been great to work with!  We are also having a DJ.  We were originally booked at Trevi, but when Maggiano's opened 2 months before our wedding we jumped on it!  The menu and selection will be better than Trevi, and for about the same price (if not less).   Our package at Maggiano's is around $80 per person for food and beverages (open bar), including a champagne toast and dessert.

Additional Vendors

Mon Ami Gabi.
For the bachelorette party.  Love the food there!  And for vegas they have great prices.  The view of the Bellagio Fountains from the patio is great.  After dinner we'll head to a piano bar, probably the one in Paris.

Rio World Carnival Buffet.
We'll be eating there the night before the wedding for our 'non-rehersal' dinner.  This is an un-hosted event and it's $24.99 per person.

Debi with Fit for a Bride.

She's picking up the wedding party and family dresses the night before the wedding for steaming, and dropping them off the morning of the wedding.  I know a lot of brides ship their dress to her but I'd rather bring mine and just pay the delivery fee, which I think is very reasonable ($60 for pickup/delivery of all the dresses).

Jason's Deli.

Bringing me, the bridesmaids & mom's breakfast the morning of the wedding!  $5.99 a person for coffee, bagles and fruit.

Luxor Hair Salon.
Victoria K, at the Nuture Salon in the Luxor did my hair for my friend's wedding and it turned out beautiful.  I am so glad I'll have her to do my bridal updo.  I We'll do our own make up to save money and my skin from going crazy (it's super sensitive).

Pyramid Cafe
At the Luxor.
A quick lunch spot after hair and before we head back to the Vdara to get dressed!

Presidential Limo.
They'll be picking us up from the airport and taking us to get our marriage license and get food & liquor.

Double Decker Bus.
We'll be using the DD to transport our 60 guests from Caesars to Maggiano's.

Rebel Party Linens.
Jill from Rebel linens was very quick to respond to my inquiries and give me a quote on our satin table linens and chair covers.  I would definitely recommend Rebel over RSVP party rentals!  Their prices for the satin table linens were a bit less than RSVP's as well.  Even if Rebel would have been more expensive, I would have gone with them.  I did not receive good customer service from RSVP.

All Night Long Entertainment.

Our DJ was booked through Maggiano's.  We also booked a photographer through them for 3 hours, to get photos of us on the Double Decker bus and the first 2 hours of our reception (our photographer has another wedding in between our photo tour and reception).

Caked Las Vegas.

We're ordering 6 dozen cupcakes in 4 different flavors.  Carolyn, the owner/baker has been really nice.    Caroyln was the only bakery that I spoke with that allowed me to chose different flavors for each dozen without charging me extra.  She also only charges a refunable deposit to rent the cupcake tree and other bakeries I spoke with charged a flat, non-refundable fee.

Travis Allen#1.
'Young Elvis" will be coming to our reception!  Cannot wait!  I think he will be a HUGE hit!  Our photographer will be able to take photos of him with our guests and us of course, and we will dance while he sings 'Can't Help Fallin In Love With You'!  Classic.  He will sing 3-4 songs and then take as many photos with guests as they want.  Booking with his manager & dad "GK" was a pleasure.
